Where I stayed
We were due to stop at the local tyre place at 10am so they can rotate the caravan tyres but as it’s only 8:30 when we get there they are unable to fit us in we decide to find somewhere in Esperance and get going. Stopping for fuel in Jerramungup & Ravensthorpe we pretty much drive straight through, the promise of nicer weather drawing us quicker to Esperance. When we arrive it is lovely and warm our first stop is a lovely big smelly shed at a tyre place with lots of sweating men jacking up the van while we wait in the car, thankfully it only takes 10 minutes or so and we’re on our way, finding a cross-threaded wheel nut we’re thankful we hadn’t needed to change a tyre on the side of the road
Finally off to the Caravan Park lucky we booked as there is a constant stream of vans coming in for the night 170 sites and fully booked again! Definitely worth opening a caravan park in Esperance.
Bill sets up the van and he’s off again this time to Bunnings. The attraction to a Bunnings is never far away and the need for running repairs a good excuse. He arrives back armed with new elastic rope to re-thread around the stone protector on the van and a pole to convert the inside table to an external table when we’re stopped for a couple of nights. His talents are never ending. I am suitably impressed as I watch from my camping chair with my glass of Moscato!
