Sightseeing, thought we better do something other than shopping so Fremantle Maritime Museum it is, start with a Submarine tour, I have to say was wondering why we would do that and all of us agree it was fantastic! Bill started with his customary questions, by the end I think everyone was as involved we toured through a Submarine HMAS Ovens on the dry dock learning from our tour guide who had been a Mariner for 25 years serving as a Sonar Operator; our one hour tour lasted for about 90 minutes. We had a quick lunch before touring around the Maritime Museum, my Mum & her family emigrated from England in 1962 and landed in Fremantle so it was interesting to show the kids some photos and artefacts from that time (took heaps of photos Mum!)

Once we leave the lovely air-conditioned Museum we head into Fremantle a quick stop at a sports shop for a basketball pump and a few pairs of Speedo bathers later (18), $19.95 buy one get one free, now that's a bargain! Time for coffee I think, quick final tour of Fremantle, a very picturesque town with many old restored buildings, a few not so restored too! As much as we like Perth we are looking forward to leaving tomorrow, enough of the city we need to explore.

Good-Bye Perth! MMM
