Oh and there's a museum with possibly the best display of everything to do with coffee, plungers, coffee machines, roasters even every teapot you can think of. There were hundreds, no probably thousands of items from all over the world magnificently displayed, all collected by one man clearly obsessed with coffee! The best part was when you enter the museum you collect a hand-set which you can enter the number displayed from the item you get a full item description from the collector
. They even have the kids sorted with an activity sheet getting them to find things in the museum with a gift when they finished. After a couple of hours we finally dragged ourselves away (kicking & screaming) and continued on. We then made a stop at an ice-cream factory where they make their own sorbet & gelato. Today is turning out to be quite a foodies delight day! Let’s make it a hat-trick lunch at Kuranda market. Nice little café for lunch & on to the market to shop! Shopping at Kuranda market is the best way to save money because they are possibly the worst markets we have ever been to. They have 2 markets Traditional & Original. The Original Markets is meant to be more "hippie" & originals I’m sure this would have been the case if any of the Hippies had decided to come in however being 2 in the avo is maybe a little late or early for them so only about 3 stalls open. The other markets were mainly open

Head from Atherton to Cairns via Mareeba and make a stop at Coffee Works! Mmmmm coffee & better still Coffee & Chocolate!!!!!! What a wonderful tourist place $48.00 for the family with bottomless tastings of various varieties of coffee tea, liqueur coffee and chocolate with some interesting flavours including Lemon Myrtle, Lime & Cracked Pepper, Chilli. I just stuck with the white mil & dark but Mr adventurous thought the Lemon Myrtle was pretty good!
