HOMEWORK DAY!! Finally got the school books out sat in the beautiful sunshine & tackled the homework. The problem is so many grey nomads about it was like honey to the bee, we got that involved in "chatting" the kids ended up sneaking away to the playground!! Oh well we got a bit done. Bill was feeling a bit off colour (just a cold the poor darlin') so we just took it easy for the rest of the day. A short visit into Alice to get some brochures from the Info centre, a stroll down Todd Mall to browse through the shops & then back to the van. We took a different road this time, what an eye opener!! There were cyclone fenced off properties which were like mini getto’s, glad we weren’t walking. Off to Desert park tomorrow (I think) the lady at the BBQ said it was good so that’s good enough for us! I think we are finally starting to relax now it’s been 2 weeks although Liam came back from the playground at dinner time & said “I really miss all my cousins & friends from school Mum” poor chicky just 2 sisters driving him a little crazy I think. Early start tomorrow so signing off! Mob of Mad Mackays xo

Sounds like you are having an awesome time guys, Glenn is very envious and suggested we hooked the camper trailer on and do the As for the Homework what better education could the kids get than doing a trip like this and seeing first hand what a beautiful ever changing diverse country we live in. Keep travelling safe.

Hi guys, I finally got time to read all the travel news in one hit. It's only 11pm. Should be sleeping. It's great to hear what's happening and yes definitely wish I was there to share the good weather and sunshine with you all. I like the news from Ayers Rock. It's so interesting to learn from the rangers. We found that when we went to Kakadu. The road is so long but the journey unforgetable. Liam wish I had heard you sing. Sounds as if we have a budding star. Or was that Bill who was the star? Um no they didn't give you any money! Better luck next time Bill. We had a computer/printer glitch and all I could think of was - Where's Bill? Need his help. Thanks for getting back to me. Really appreciated it. Well who's grown the most on the holiday. I know its only been 2 weeks, but with all that fresh air and sunshine I am expecting the Mackay kids all to have sprouted. Keep enjoying the experience. I know I am having a great time hearing about it. Love the photos. By the way is Mum/lucy the only one writing. would like to hear your thoughts on the trip as well. Take care all of you. love Pauli
