Today we went to the Grand Bazaar, which was kind of bizarre. It was just about overflowing with people, and inside it was kind of a big rip-off. But that does'nt mean it wasn't fun. It was amazing and fun! There were so many shops selling stuff from soccer jerseys to tissues, and everything else in between. Then, after much discussion, we decided to walk to Asia (LOL!). We started walking, then had a great fish sandwhich on the Galada bridge, that crosses the Golden Horn. The bridge was very popular with fisherman. There were hundreds on either side. Unfortunately, one of them got a hook stuck in the bottom of Mom's pants. The bread man came to help and successfuly got the hook out. The Golden Horn is a body of water that flows into the Bospherus. In ancient times, it was a harbor. After lunch, we continued to walk, all the way to a nice square to have a snack and a cup of tea for my parents. This took about 2 hours during which we saw many shops and restaurants. Most of the restaurants had tables outside, and some had fish hanging on display. One time, we even saw lamb liver, lamb eyes, lamb legs and lamb brain outside on display!! I thought it was rather unappetizing, adn so did my parents. Though I wanted to keep walking, it was time to go back to the hotel, and this is how we did it: Trolly, walk, bus, walk, tram, walk and hotel.
