Istanbul is incredible! It has many tourist attractions and markets. We have already had dinner at an incredible restaurant. The two places I am still dying to go to are the Blue Mosque and the Aya Sophia. If you don't know about the Aya Sophia, here is some information:
Emperor Justinian (one of the Roman's great emperors) had it built to show how great the Roman empire was. It was also one of the greatest churches in the world. Built in 537 AD, it was a church until 1453 when Sultan Mehmet the second conquered Constantinople and converted it into a mosque. It remained a mosque until 1935 when Ataturk made it a museum.
Walking arround the streets of Istanbul is also amazing. Cars don't stop for people, and everyone seems to be walking in the middle of the street. They also have cool trams on the roads with the cars. They always seem to be full of people.
Besides looking forward to the Aya Sophia and the Blue Mosque, I am also looking forward to a great trip.
