Well, here I am in Queenstown the adventure / party capital of the south. I got here on Sunday and did the Milford Sound day trip the next day. It was a long day on the bus and the weather was not so good for the boat trip. The scenery is amazing down here in the fjordland area. The trip itself I found to be very pedestrian, I mean, we were on a coach for most of the day and every coach stops at the same places for photos etc. I felt like a japanese tourist and the boat trip was boring. I recommend coming down here and doing some of the tracks!
Last night I went on a bit of a crawl with the guy from Esperance in my dorm. We went to Altitude, then the World bar were there were half price teapots (if you haven't been to queenstown, the world bar serves cocktails in teapots and they give you a shot glass and you keep filling it up from your pot). 2 or 3 teapots later (I was drinking handles of Montieths Original as well) and I am getting quite merry. We finished up in the Buffalo bar where there were a load of people from the hostel there.
I am staying at Deco's which is a great hostel, especially if you are staying for a bit longer. Amjid is here and I finally got to meet his girlfriend Sam, whom he had been on the phone to all the time when I met him in Aus. We are going to Coronet Peak tommorrow.
Today is laundry day! So I am in town to organise my snowboard rental for tommorrow and a couple of other things I have meaning to catch up on.
Right, I am off to see what this Luge is all about..

Yep, I had a few of those. Forgotten all about them till I read your blog. We ordered an expensive TVR and just got one shot of vodka and one of tequilla. Stick to the cheap ones, they're stronger.
