I caught the Magic bus back to Christchurch today. Spent the day try to track down a shop that sells these plastic bags that you can put your clothes in and your roll them up and it compresses all the air out, vaccum packing your clothes so that they don't take up so much space. I decided to stay in Foley Towers this time. Seems like a chilled backpackers, the sort that you could stay in for a while.

Tommorrow I am heading for Hanmer Springs...

Sooooooo jealous!!!!!The snowboarding sounded wicked!! Brings back memories! Lake Tekapo is gorgeous isn't it. Didn't spend that much time in Christchurch myself but you wll love Queenstown. Don't forget to give Milford Sound a visit...even if only a day trip it is so worth it. Out of this world!Hope you and amjid have a ball when you catch up. Tell him I said hi and hope he is having a fab time too. Talk to you both soon.

I met a really good welshman, actually picked him up as a hitchhiker and took him most the way down the south island, anyway he was working in Christchurch for six months, he should still be there. If you meet him, say hi!
