Launceston. I was not sure what to expect from this town. Tassie's jokingly refer to it as Inceston for obvious reasons. It seemed much more happening than Hobart to be honest. The people are quite friendly too. We stayed in the Lloyd Hotel & Backpackers. It has just opened as a backpackers but they really don't know what they are doing yet. It has no atmosphere and is still run like a hotel. Also, they charge $2 for a pillow, $2 for a sheet & $2 for a blanket. This is to try and keep the advertised price down to $18.50 instead of $24.50 which I thought was kind of shitty. Don't stay there!

We spent the day on Bruny island before coming up. You get a ferry out and it is well worth it. It is beautiful there.
