Adelaide, seems like a really nice city. After being in outback towns for so long now it is a welcome relief just to be in a city again. It is a pity that I am only spending one night here. I am in real hurry to get to Melbourne so I can spend some time with Angie before she goes back to Germany.

I met Jo in Annies backpackers and had a few beers there. She has managed to pick up the Ross River virus. Must have been from all the mosquitos especially in Kakadu. I gotten biten just as much, in fact my feet looked as if someone fired a shotgun at them. Luckily I didn't get anything. Apparently it can result in chronic pain for 6 months. I think she will be okay though.

I have met up with Amjid (tall Paki) here in Adelaide and am spending a night on the his mates (Chris & Diz - good guys) couch. We leave for Melb very early in the morning. Chris is driving.

I think I will come back to Adelaide at some point. I feel that I have not spent enough time in SA.

I will catch up with Thomas and Kathinka in Melbourne.
