Devils Marbles

We considered making Tenant Creek our next overnight stop but it is a bit of a kip. Apparently, the mine shutdown a couple of years ago and the town has been slowly dying ever since. Instead we camped down by the Devils Marbles about another 100km south of Tenant Creek. The devils marbles themselves are very odd looking. The landscape is dominated by huge round granite boulders that rest precariously onto of rocks or lean against each other. The next day we had to clear up our tents pretty quick as a huge rain storm came in real quickly. Got eaten alive by mosquitos. Bastards!
