The scenery driving across the Pilbarra was just amazing. We have been travelling in convoy now with 2 German girls (Nanna & Julie) who are driving a Wicked Van. We met them at the Nanutarra roadhouse. Apparently they have been spoting us all the way up the coast.
Tom Price is a mining town and has everything you need. Our tent made its debut here. The campsite we stayed in was just heaving with wild life. I have never seen so many different kinds of bugs and these weird frogs that cling to walls and ceilings.
One thing about camping is you are usually woken up about 6am to the racket the birds make for about 30 mins. Then surviving that you will usually not sleep past 7am as the tent just gets too hot.
Spent just one night here.
