My parents came over to visit us while we were living in Berlin. They stayed 2 nights in Berlin and we did a lot of walking. There was a lot of snow during this time and the Christmas markets were in full swing. We went to the Finnish Christmas market in Kultur Brauerei ( the best one in our opinion), Alexander Platz and Potsdamer Platz. We walked through Hackesche Markt, Museum Insel, Brandburg Gate and the East Side gallery. Oh and we visited check point Charlie. My parents really liked the German Frustuck and Curry Wurst from the many Berliner Imbisses.

We traveled down to Dresden for a night and then stayed with Angie's parents in Bahra for the night. It was cool that my parents could visit Angie's folks and see where they live. It was hard for them to really talk with each other though because of language difficulties. Myself and Angie could translate. The following day after a satisfying Anders breakfast was took the train from Riesa to Prague and spent a night there. We didn't have a lot of time for Prague as we had to take the train back to Berlin the following afternoon. The buildings in Prague never fail astound me and I can never get my bearings in this city. My parents stayed one more night in Berlin before flying back to Ireland. It was quite a whirlwind tour for them but they enjoyed themselves and still talk about it.
