We arrived at Bar Harbor Campground early afternoon on 17 Sep. Some of the group couldn't wait to eat lobster, so it was off to an early dinner at the Chart Room, recommended by the people at the campground. We got there before 6PM for the early bird lobster dinner special. Larry K, LeeDelle & myself had that. I hadn't had lobster for a very long time, so it was a treat. We were seated with a great view of the water.

The next morning it was off to tour "Baa Habaa". As we were gathering to leave, Rick struck up a conversation with the guy in the RV next to us. He had a Vietnam sticker on his rig, so of course Rick, the shy one (yeah, right!) starting talking to him. Turns out he was the brother of a good friend of Shirley's in Sierra Vista! He is from OK, but spends time with his sister in Sierra Vista in the winter as he & his wife are full time RVers. What a small world it is....... We will see him in SV this winter.

So, back to the tour of Bar Harbor. We walked around the town & of course did some souvenir shopping. I think the guys were a bit bored, but we were just killing time until our boat tour left. It was a " 3 hour tour, a 3 hour tour With Gilligan, The Skipper too, The millionaire and his wife, The movie star, The professor and Mary Ann, .............", oh, wrong boat tour! We actually took the Historic Lighthouses & Nat'l Park Tour. What a great trip. The pictures below will tell the story. After a long day of touring, it was back to the campground for Happy Hour & dinner.
