Road to Nuweiba
we finally were able to get out of Jordan, after many tribulations attempting to get back into Egypt. First they told us at the ferry station that there were no more tickets for the FAST boat... the slow boat can take up to 24hrs if not longer... In Egypt time, that's about 49 hours if you're lucky. WE finally hired a taxi to drive us over to Eliat where we could get in to Israel, and then out to Egypt... it was kind of annoying having to pay 55NIS just to cross through Israel... they gotta make money somehow right? anyway, we finally got into TABA... and that was o.k. except we had to wait like 4 HOURS or something like that cuz my cheap ass companions didn't want to spend the EXORBITANT amount of 50USD split among 3 girls, to have a private taxi drive us over to Nuweiba... by the beach. So we had to wait at the bus station for EVER.... Luckily our bus ride for 2 hours... when it should have been no more than 45 mins ... was only 12LE, which is the equivalent of 2.5USD. i guess we saved a ton... but seriously... when time is not on your side... how much is 50USD divided by 3... for a 130mi. ride... anyway... I guess we made it ....we made it to this HUT hotel type of thing

. which was o.k. in the day. but at night, it was only us...3 dumb girls and all of the male staff... TOURISTAS comes to mind? maybe HOSTEL... either way. we were scared for our lives. I was kind of upset these girls picked this place... what was I SMOKING?
