We woke to better weather and left Blanding by 9am heading for Colorado. Before we could get too far from Blanding , Alex has already had two blow outs to the rear tire so the ever helpful support crew pulled over and fixed the problem to ensure we had all four bikes on the road.
One, two, three states down six to go as we were in Colorado. As we crossed the boarder the red rock of Utah went and the green fields of Colorado appeared with the Rockies emerging from nowhere in the distance as if we were seeing a back drop to a movie set.
From the cyclists point of view the cycle to Dolores this day was tough as it was an 80 mile hard days cycle and we were all looking forward to the rest day now only one day away.
