Where I stayed
Since I am going back to Berlin today and I made such great friends while here in Poznan they wanted to have a small going away party for me at the Brovaria. http://www.brovaria.pl/EN-H28.html really cool place. I switched houses in the middle of my stay while here in Poznan, the first couch I surfed was at Ola's and it was very nice but I felt like 3 days was plenty for her to host me, and I wanted to meet some more new people so I searched for another couch and found Anna. She is very cool and has also traveled the world so we had a lot to talk about. She and Ola and a few other friends met us for the going away party and we had a great time. I'm going to miss Poland.
I will be getting on a train today at 6:00pm to head back to Berlin. When I get to Berlin I will have a about an hour to kill then get aboard the night train to Munich, Germany for one of the world's largest festivals! October Fest! The night trains are pretty cool, they have 6 beds in one very small sleeper cabin. There are 3 beds stacked high on one side of the cabin and 3 on the other. I found all of this out when I took the night train from Amsterdam to Berlin last week. There was a couple of American girls sharing the sleeper with me and 3 young kids from New Zealand. I told the girls we should go explore the train and see what we can find. We found a mini-bar! Which was actually just a guy standing in one of the small rooms with a refrigerator and some snacks for sale. We also found another sleeper with 8 more guys from the USA so we decided to have a small party on a big train. We had a great time until about midnight and the bar tender told us we had to go to bed because people were trying to sleep and we were getting louder by the minute.
