Well, after getting dropped off at the Winnipeg airport, I waved, cried, and said by to the parents, and headed off though security to wait for the plane.
Nothing to special here on the flights, just fly to Toronto, and spend a few hours then catch a night flight to London England. Course I landed in London at about 8am their time but it was like 3am my time. I wasn't doing to bad but didn't do a hole lot of sleeping on the plane. Cours having on demand tv access while flying didn't help. I watched too many movies but dosed to them too so i wan't up the entire time, but it was good and relaxing.
Then as i'm walking around London Heathrow i'm getting tired while i'm waiting for my connector flight to Capetown, and I was there all day (8am till 5pm). So I managed to get some sleep during the day while I waited. I would find a fairly quite spot and strech out, then an hour later it was full of people so then i would find another spot and the same thing would happen. An hour later that would fill up so I would move on again. But then by the time I got on the night flight to Capetown I wasn't tired anymore, emagin that..... so back to the movies. Ok Ok, i didn't not just sleep the entire time I was in the airport. I walked around a fair bit to and tried reading my book. Found I didn't like that book and finally opened my other book, much better.
Anyway just got the the hotel in Capetown. I am starting to be tired now today but otherwise I did get some sleep along the way, not much but some. My own fault. It will work out soon. Course it's 8:30am here now and I can't get into my room until 2pm but they locked up my main pack so that helps.
It's lightly raining here and suppose to be raining for a couple days I hear, and was told it is unusual for this time of year apparently. But it's warm so not a big deal and right now i'm inside anyway.... :-)
would love a shower
So not really much pictures yet but got a couple sun rises from the planes. I will have to load them later.
