On July 13th, Barry and I tore down camp and left the Great Smoky Mountains behind.
We drove to Gatlinberg and hung out there for a few hours. What a touristy town!!
Late in the afternoon we arrived at Leslie's house (Bram's former high school sweetheart) in Greenville, Tennesee. It was great to use a real bathroom and hot shower. After dinner, Lesliee's sister Tonya and her boyfriend Todd joined us and we all drove to North Carolina to camp for the night. We hung out by a campfire and had a bunch of drinks and a lot of fun.
We woke up early on the 14th and went to sit under a nearby waterfall. There was an ENORMOUS slippery rock that was like a natural water slide down in to the water below. The water was so cold that you could hardly catch your breath.
In the late afternoon Barry I began our dirve home.
