Barry and I lfet on our summer trip to the Smokies on Friday, July 9.  We woke up at 6AM and were on the road by 7AM.  We drove all day and arrived in Atlanta by 6:30PM.

On July 10th Barry and I went to the theme park Six Flags Over Georgia and had an awesome time!  We went on the Free Fall which is a car that basically dropped 3 stories.

At 3:30PM we left and arrived at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee.  Around 9PM we strapped on our gear and made a two mile hike in pitch darkness to attempt to find our campsite.  We never found our site so we just set up our tent in the dark.  After we set up we stayed up, had a cigar and some drinks.
