On July 11th we woke up and cooked some breakfast. We tore down our camp site and hiked back to the Visitor Center. They directed us to our new site and we set up there and then cooked some lunch. Later we played some baseball and in the late afternoon we headed down to the stream. The water was so cold so it took us a while to get submerged. But it was very refreshin!
Around 7PM we began to cook dinner. We had a great campfire and even roasted some marshmellows.
We woke up around 10AM on July 12 and decided to drive around the park. We made a stop at a big, cold, heavily populated lake. A lot of tourists were lying out there. We got back in the car and later stopped on the side of the road. Just for the heck of it we climbed a steep inclined rock wall. For some reason it was a whole lot more difficult trying to get back down. Our last stop was by a stream by the side ofthe road. We climbed up on these boulders and jumped off into the cold water about 20 feet below. There was even a waterfall there we could climb under.
Later that night Barry cooked a huge Italian meal for dinner.
