For the third time in the last four years, my dad and I attended the first two rounds of the NCAA basketball tournament.  This was the first time however that we did not travel to another city.  The tournament was being held here in Miami and due to limited funds we went to the games here. 

The games started on Friday.  We saw four games in Saturday and were at the arena for over 12 hours!
The first game was the worst.  #3Syracuse destroyed #14 Stephen F. Austin.  Then we saw #6 Arizona State defeat #11 Temple.  The games finished about 5:15PM and so we left the arena and walked to the restaurant Manny's.  We sat outside and enjoyed some drinks.  They were offering free Tequila and raw oysters so we took advantage of that.  We followed that up with a delicious meal of steak and lobster.
After dinner we made our way back to the arena with full bellies for then ext two games.  Both of the night games were upsets.  First #12 Arizona defeated #5 Utah, and then the biggest upset of the entire tournament came when we saw the #4 Wake Forest team lose to #13 Cleveland State.


Now today we came back to the arena for round two.  Today we saw #12 Arizona defeat #13 Cleveland State and #3 Syracuse defeat #6 Arizona State.
