After visiting Port Angeles, Hurricane Ridge, Sequim, and Port Townsend earlier in the day, I.......

At 6:45PM I drove my car onto a ferry and got off on Whidbey Island in the Puget Sound.  I set up camp at Fort Casey State Park which is all part of Ebey's Landing National Historic Reserve.  On my drive in the park I came upon a mother deer with two little babies.  After setting up my tent I visited the fort here.  It was built as one of three (Fort Worden which I visited earlier was one of the three) to protect the Puget Sound in the 1890's.  The fort was later used as a training facility for World War I and II.  I had a bunch of fun exploring the fort and climbing on top of it.

Then I walked over to Admiralty Head Lighthouse which was built in 1858.  I sat on a hill overlooking the lighthouse and at about 10PM watched the sunset below the water next to the lighthouse.
