I've been robbed!!
Entry 1 of 4 | show all | print this entry |
I recently purchased a $10,400 vacation package from Expedia.ca. A few days later I noticed that I was overcharged for five airfares I did not request or agree to totaling over $4,900 in extra charges. United Airlines tells me that they were authorized by Expedia to issue the tickets and bill my charge card. The airline will not deal with me directly even though the tickets are apparently in my name.
I have contacted Expedia approximately ten times now to have this issue resolved but they apparently don't care or don't know anything about customer service. Almost $5,000 has been taken from me and I don't even have the tickets that were supposedly issued by United Airlines.
I'm sure if I walked out of Expedia's offices with $5,000 of THEIR money, I would be arrested. My booked trip, hasn't even started and I feel its already ruined. If I don't get reimbursed, I won't have enough money for my trip!
I feel a fraud has been committed. I'm getting sick over this and my worrying is preventing me from sleeping.
I feel like I'm visiting Hell and can't find the road out. Expedia...please return my money.
Where I stayed:

Welcome to the club of victims of expedia. EXPEDIA tried to scam me once. Read my case and hundreds more at: www.expedianews.com . You are not alone. Contact your credit card company and dispute the charges. My credit card company helped me to recover 1254,95 U$D when EXPEDIA tried to scam me.
