I have traveled to Bangkok a number of times, both on golf trips and general weekends away. There are many tourist things to do here, such as the temples, a boat trip on the river and the weekend market, but I have done them all before and so I wasn't very inspired this time.
I found the city to be very claustrophobic compared to the beach and the fresh air of Pattaya, and I think I did the trip in the wrong order. I'll try and make a mental note to do the city before the beach if a similar choice arises in other locations. More than anything though, I think I missed the moped.
I took the time to do some long walks and to catch up on some reading, I had brought many books with me and I had not touched any in Pattaya. I'll be adding a review on this site for each book I read on the trip, as they are an integral part of my adventure.
