Post By Miranda Ewing

This week Jason had to be in the office for work to train new employees so instead of him having to make the drive hour to Dana Point from San Diego everyday his boss was generous enough to get him a hotel close to the office. The girls and I didn't want to be away from him for that long so we joined him on the second day. It was nice to have a little vacation from our vacation. The hotel was right across from the beach and had a balcony with a great view. While Jason was at work the girls and I went to the beach, went shopping, and just relaxed. Even though we are on a constant vacation, being in a hotel meant no dishes, no laundry, and no cleaning for three days. It was a nice break. For my husband, who was busting his butt at work the whole time, it wasn't much of a change, but I hope he knows how much we appreciate him.

The girls and I celebrated Easter a little early because we found a great park just north of Dana Point that was having an Easter Eggstravaganza. The Easter bunny was there, a bounce house, hay ride, pony rides, and of course a big egg hunt. The girls came back with way more candy than they could eat and they were overjoyed. The Easter Bunny also visited the RV this year. The girls ended up with two baskets actually. Since there is limited hiding space in the RV, Sarah and Lily found one set of baskets before Easter, those were from Mommy and Daddy. Then the Easter Bunny brought another set on Easter Sunday. We ended up with TONS of candy and it seemed like Halloween all over again. We better start tripling our teeth brushing efforts!
