Happy Halloween!

Because our school week is from Sunday to Thursday, we celebrated Halloween at Heritage a day early. It was a bit of a gongshow but tons of fun. We asked each child to bring some food and of course parents brought more food then we asked for. Out of 23 students I had 21 students there, and there was 4 Batmans, 2 Zorros and of course many princesses. The kids were cute, and some of the kids in their costumes had some great muscles.

The Canadian Embassy had a Halloween shindig that we went too, and since we had no idea where the Embassy we all decided to meet at the MGM (Maadi Grand Mall) to wait for our transportation (that came late), let's just say that Egyptians tend not to celebrate Halloween, so when there's about 20 foreginers gathering together, a crowd of Egyptians usually form to observe. Add costumes to the mix, and you get another gongshow in Maadi. I'm pretty sure the Egyptians were phoning their friends telling them to come to the MGM to come gawk at the foreigners in costumes.

Here's some pictures of my kids in their costumes! And some pictures of the adults in their costumes.
