I'm sick of...
1)     Having to sign out school resources and having to plead with the store room people to let me take out 3 glue sticks and 9 pens.
2)     Being cat-called from the guys on the street. Many of these guys have studied in North America , they wouldn't do that back there, so why do it now?
3)     Being honked at from the guys on the street. If I want a cab, I'll face traffic and wave one down.
4)     Having to walk on the road because the sidewalks are filled with sand piles.
5)     Finding ants in my apartment. Big ones, small ones, some the size of your head...
6)     Ramadan - nothing is ever open when you want it opened including restuarants and stores and Internet comanies. School is compressed, we're done by 2:30 which can be good but it means everything is rushed and you can't stay after school to get prep work done.
7)     Dial-up internet because I can't go to the internet company because of reason #6. The company is closed by 3pm and opens again by 8pm but by then I'm not wanting to go out because of #2 and #3.
8)      Having students that can't speak a lot of English and some who don't speak any English.
9)      Not having a P.E. or Music teacher for my students. So that means I don't have 11 preps a week, I have 5. And with the shortened Ramadan schedule it's only a 25 minute prep.
10) Nothing making any sense. Why can't we apply for a multiple entry visa on the same day we apply for our tourist visa? Why do we have to go back on a Saturday to do it? And why didn't people find out the hours of when it opened and not make us go there an hour earlier then we had to be. And why are we applying for a tourist visa when we were told that we would be getting work visas?
11) not being able to talk to family for more then 15 minutes because my 100 LE phone card (~$20) only lasts that long and the calls on Skype drop with dial-up internet.
