20 days till I head to Egypt and still no backpack, but I have received my new passport. I'm hoping that this weekend I'll head over to MEC to look at their backpacks and fingers crossed I'll be leaving with one too. I haven't started packing yet but I've mentally gone through my closet and have decided on what goes to Egypt, what stays at home, and what's going to goodwill. I can predict that my closet is going to be pretty empty when I leave. I've set a few things a side to pack but this adventure is going to be harder to pack just because I have to pack professional teaching clothes as well as the casual clothes, travel clothes and stuff, teaching resources and misc items such as those drink crystals for water bottles. I have bought a Europe on a shoestring book that I haven't looked through yet just because a majority of my travels will most likely be in Africa, I'm saving Europe when I have more then a week off.
I've started a list of what needs to be done...but instead of crossing out items, I seem to be adding more. Hopefully, well I really don't have a choice, the items on the list must be done before I head off. I guess that's what the weekends are for.
