Well, what happened today? I had a proper sleep last night for the first time in almost a week. In the morning we had an option of visiting Troy, but after two days of massive head aches, and after being told that there was not much to see at Troy, I decided not to go, I might regret it, but then again - I can always come back. The people who went to Troy with the guide said that it had been nice and interesting, but not an absolute must see. I heard parts of it descriped as enthusiasticly as 'It was sorta like visiting the site of the Battle of Hastings - it's just a big field' But tomorrow we are going to see the ruins at Ephesos and the ruins of one of the Seven Wonders - that is the Temple of Artemis (the remaining wonders are the Pyramids of Egypt, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, The Colossus of Rhodes, the Statue of Zeus at Olympia, the Mausoleum of Maussollos Halicarassus and the Lighthouse at Alexandria, for more info visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Wonders_of_the_World)
It was a nice and relaxing day, eight hours in a bus gives you plenty of time to relax and do nothing with a clear conscience.
It's almost midnight here, so I better get to bed so I can wake at 7 am - my I hate getting up early, but I do know that ıt ıs occasionally neccesary.
Take care
Best,
Eva Maria
