From there it was on to Trafalgar square and the National Gallery for a view of some equisite paintings by Monet, Rembrandt, Reubans, Klimt, Van Gough, just to name a few.
Finally, after being totally cultured out we made our way back to The Swan pub and had a feast of fish and chips, beer and being immersed in football mania with Spain & Germany competing for a final spot in Fifa.
Tomorrow it's up early as we are headed for Paris via the Eurostar train through the Chunnel.
Today was an overcast day, but we were not going to let a little weather keep us from our last day in London. Yesterday we wanted to see the Templar church and decided to go back today and have a look but befoe going there, I wanted to have a look at the United Grand Lodge of England building & museum. The last time I was here they had a power outage and we didn't get a very good look, well I must say it was worth the wait after 11 years, a very impressive Lodge I must say! My wife Pat, and our friend Shelley also accompanied me and they enjoyed themselves too! I bought a few things in the kit shop and then it was time for lunch in the Prince of Wales pub just down the street on Great Queen Street. Had a beer and some light lunch and then off to the Templar Church. Some of you who have seen the Davinci Code will recognize the pictures as they filmed a scence here, it's a church from the 12th Century Knights Templars. We enjoyed that and headed down the steet towards Trafalgar square passing Twinings Tea house and then discovering the RAF Church, so we stopped in and had a look, it's a church dedicated to all of the RAF Squadrons and Commonwealth Airforces who fought in the second world war.
