We drive down to Grebbestad have a walk around, I venture off to walk a cliff that borders the town while Soz chills and relaxes with a book. After a long time driving south to find yet another free camping site we finally settle in the car-park of a nature reserve (Norden Ark) in Sontenas. We are assured by other camping vans (twice as big as us) that it is OK to stay the night. After dinner we bravely grab our touch and venture off for a walk along the river and into the woods
Off to Goteborg, a city of McDonald's (one every 500m) and streets and streets of shopping. We head to a museum with an exhibition on why people travel. We walked away feeling slightly guilty for our carbon omissions (which we will offset) and proud for the different lifestyle in different countries we have seen.
Soren has an Uncle who lives in Ekeby (near Helsingborg) we head down to spend a few days. Uncle Axel is very welcoming, it was great to meet him. He was good company and we hope to have him in Australia one day soon.
The next day we visited Helsingborg, Lund and Malmo. One day is enough for all of these towns. They never seem to wake up, Malmo was the busiest but it was a Sunday and nothing was open.
We return the Malmo the next morning to cross the sea to Copenhagen. This bridge is absolutely amazing in innovation and design. A bridge that goes into a tunnel. About half way across the river there is a small island that turns into a tunnel which popes out in Copenhagen.
All for now...
