Today was a day of travel, hassle and admin.
The travel was by bus and plane from Backpackers Victoria Falls to J'Burg.
The hassle, was having a missing rucksack on arrival in J'Berg, which having not turned up on the carousel, eventually turned up at the BA office in another terminal an hour later (work that one out). Having missed my hotel shuttle, I then needed to find a local hotel to stay at, and ended up 5 minutes from the airport at the very comfortable and reasonably priced Dove's Nest.
The admin, was me catching up on emails and travel log. On arrival at around 5.00pm I sat outside in the hotel garden writing up my log, I continued in my room as it got cooler, pausing for something to eat for half an hour and continuing until around 9.00pm when I then went online until 11.00pm
Keeping the log up to date is pretty time consuming, but really important to me as a future reference for family, friends and myself. To his end I am keeping it pretty comprehensive, but if others are enjoying the encounters then that is a bonus.
Tomorrow I fly on an Airbus, which I am quite excited about as I didn't even know they were in service yet. I will need to catch up on some sleep while on board, so I hope it's comfortable. On two flights so far I have ended up with smelly, farting bxxxards, pushing their seats right back in front of me - oh the joys of flying.
