Some how life seems to trap you; personal, social and family commitments and responsibilities tie you down and the possible seems impossible.
Sometimes we have to be selfish in order to accomplish something - we can all find 100 reasons not to do something and 99% of these will be because of a third party.
Single minded and selfish is what I have had to become in order to even get started, but at the heart of my desire to travel and see more is the knowledge that through my travels I could learn and develop as a person, and when only 44 at a time when he was just beginning to enjoy the spoils of his working life, my father died. I am now 44 and it is a poinent reminder that 'Life waits for no man'.
