Early morning breakfast overlooking the lake was great and a lovely way to start the day and end the safari experience, sadly we head home today. Our first stop after leaving the park at lunch time was a small Masai village.  I talked about the Masai people earlier and have made a few references to them in the past.  They are the most well known amongst all of the African tribes mainly due to their distinct dress code and unique lifestyle.

The word awesome is sometimes completely over used and in some cases the meaning of the word is lost, but I am totally in awe of what I saw and experienced the last few days.

We have a lot of driving ahead which means too much time to sit and stare into space and think...  admittedly not a great thing for me to be doing at the moment.  I am normally very active and like to be busy all of the time it also keeps your mind from wondering too much... and oh boy can my mind wonder if I let it.  I noticed over the last few weeks the days I spend a lot of time on my own are the days I feel more homesick and angry.  It turns out today I "thought" myself into somewhat of nostalgic and low mood.  Not great after such an amazing time.
