Sorry it's been so long since my last entry, and this one is going to be a quickie as I'm using the hotel Internet here in Bangkok quickly before we leave.

We've been here for just under a week and it's been incredible, I think my eyes have been wide the whole time - the architecture, the food, the people have all been fascinating. We've managed to squeeze in plenty of sight-seeing as well as a few dips in the hotel's pool. Now it's time to go to the nearby island of Ko Samet for 5 nights before we return to Bangkok for a night and fly down to Phuket and make our way to Krabi where we plan to do our PADI open water divers certificate, which we will do in the name of the MHMF. I'll report on that asap depending on Net facilities.

A big thank-you to Dave, our friend from Oxford who has been teaching English out here for a year, for sorting out the room for us and for showing us around, although I'm not sure about the deep-fried crickets he introduced us to.... :s
