Sao Paulo Airport (12 hours later)

Big wait now. Yawwwnnnn!! 9 hours. God how sad is this but i feel like I've achieved something.
We'll see when (or if) i get to Santa Cruz in one piece. I'm sure i will, but i'v a feeling the baggage may not be so successful.
Apparently, the nice Brazilian guard said it will be at my final destination.

ok i'm really bored now. I'm not really tired because I've slept most of the flight but god I've got eight and a half hours to kill and there is nothing here.
I've done the duty free shop and cleaned my teeth and tried to freshen up but its quite hard when I've got no soap. i'm certainly not paying 13 dollars for some to have to throw it again. the 2 dollar toothpaste did the trick on my teeth though - until i snook an illegal cigi in the women's rest room (as directed to do so officer when i approached the airport attendant to find the smoking area).
By the way, Milan and Sao Paulo airports are both non smoking airports - another thing I've noticed in both airports is that the bins have segments in for various types of rubbish...to promote recycling. One for paper/glass/plastic. But Sao Paulo beats Milan hands down....Sao Paulo's airport bins have 6 various compartments and a separate proper bin. paper/glass/plastic/batteries/organic waste/ and aluminum cans....It makes me think how the UK is quite ignorant to effects of our waste on the earth and environment.
yes i am definitely bored noticing things like bins!!
Iv also noticed a few Bolivian/Peruvian looking people...getting excited now he he he!!

how funny is that? i have been waiting 8 hours too in sao paolo, but the funniest thing is: i snook 3 ciggies in the ladies room, my head down the toilet as if the smoke was going to beat gravity, what a hilarious picture the cleaning lady could have taken if she caught me that day.then it was the message therapists which i hope you haven't tried. if you did, that means you arrived in bolivia on a... show all

You make me howl!!! Ha, ha, ha! I was riveted while reading your intriguing info about international recycling trends, when POP! you explain how evidently bored you must've been!! What does that say about me???
