01 Hostal Moneda
01 Hostal Moneda

For my return to Mexico City I had booked another hostal then last time, as the amigo hostal had been a little too dirty, smelly and with too much beds in one room. I choose the sister hostal Moneda, of which I had heard and read good things. There was free transport from the airport to the hostal, and my completely jetlaged body was very happy with that. It was nine oīclock local time, so 4:00 am in my body when I arrived at the hostal, but I wouldnīt be laying in bed anywhere soon yet. In de middle of my check in proces, some problem occured and I had to go and wait in a small room together with the other recent arrived until it would be solved. Later the problem seemed to be that the police tried to close the place down and we had to move to the sister hostal... Amigos. At that time I didnīt care anymore, I just wanted a bed and around 5:30 am body time, I finaly had it.

04 Teotihuacan - Piramids of Sun and Moon
04 Teotihuacan - Piramids of Sun and Moon
The next day I went to Teotihuacan together with three girls who I met during the Moneda story. Teotihuacan is the capital city of the Teotihuacan civilisation that was very big in Mexico between 0 and 900. There you can see the third biggist pyramid in the world, a big avenue lined with more buildings and a ceremonial plazw. A big site, but it didnīt realy give me a waw feeling. Have I seen too many ruins yet? We ll see, because next days I ll try out some more!
