Well we finally got to Prague after an all night flight, so we were quite weary on arrival. Prague is in the czech republic which used to be called Czechoslovakia until 1993 when it was a communist country. Prague is such a beautiful city with it's historical architecture that fortunately was not destroyed during ww2. Went up to the castle today that was constructed in 1357 where their kings used to live. It's hard to believe that they constructed such beautiful buildings so long ago with such fine detail and without modern machinery to assist. A lot of the buildings in old central Prague are 5,6 and 7 stories high with lots of statues. Saw a snippet of a music concert in the main music hall today. Wonderful. Tricia even enjoyed it even though it was classical music. Off to Dresden tomorrow that was mostly destroyed by bombing during ww2. P.s you've all heard of the Christmas carol "good king wencleslass" well, he is real and came from here.
