Atop your crown, I looked upon your reach high up in the sky from where I could admire the heavens, your mountains, glaciers and ice sentinels guarding your shores.   Through this contemplation I felt your immense power and your pure peace and tranquility kept me away from all sounds.  Time stopped for a long moment and only my heart beat reminded me of reality.  I was vibrating in sync with your compassion and our love grew beautifully.  But while in your arms I felt a breach within your soul, a far and desperate cry coming from the void.  I heard the faraway erosion of your heart, falling into the abyss to be eaten slowly by your body becoming ocean.  The subtle vibrations of your world touched my heart and uplifted me.    In this trance, I elevated my consciousness to see... you.  I saw that within your apparent peace lies a seed of chaos.  Deep within your essence, I perceived that you are slowly giving yourself death.  When you offer yourself, your beauty and your outer calm as freely as today, it initiates a chain reaction of destructive change within yourself.    A paradox!?   When your storms of anger and your strong wind whips the rocky mountains, then spirals down into the valleys, freezes everything within its reach and too often remove hope to those who are lost in your midst; you are in fact nourishing yourself and keeping the world in order.  For uncounted heart beats have I experienced your sacrifice with amazement, gratitude and will to keep on searching within myself for the meaning of this contrast... this teaching.  And so the law of rhythm showed once again that what is created always contains within itself the seed of its own destruction.  May we understand that what happens to our father sky and to our mother nature, happens to us, as we are but the child of their love.

Today we had a fantastic sun rise and landing at Danco Island, for which I have dedicated the above reflection.

Later some sent, at the British station of Port Lockory, post cards from Antarctica to the world.  The station is overrun by penguins and the rule of 5m is impossible to follow.  In order to protect the animals from human's germs contamination (as part of the Antarctica treaty) we are meant to respect a certain distance between us and the animals.  In many places (most of them actually), tourists are not authorized and research is conducted to see if penguins reproduce better with or without humans' encounters.  So far, their results surprisingly showed that penguins reproduce better when in contact with humans (interesting).  It is also my personal opinion that the inquisitive penguins benefit from their loving encounters with humans.
We concluded the day with an Antarctica BBQ on the outside deck.  We were surrounded by tall icy and snowy mountains top, a cool breeze and lots of fun.  The people on the ship have generally traveled a lot, are very open minded, seem generally happy in life, have lots to share and are very inspiring
All the love in my heart
