more lake
Since Mary Ann only had 10 days to visit, I decided to rent a car and take here pretty much everywhere I could! I've perfected my road trip skills in the states, so I figured i'd test them out in NZ. Some of the roads here are crazy though....

Our first stop was Taupo. Taupo is a town that is located on Lake Taupo-NZ'S largest lake. Of course it was awesome! Our whole reason for going there was because Mary Ann wanted to skydive, and she did! I watched.....wasn't about to jump out of a perfectly good plane! We spent a little over 24 hours in Taupo before heading north! This is a really cool town with fun little shops and our hostel was a good time too!

On our way north, we made a stop at Huka Falls, where we paid to take a ride on this jet boat. It was alright but after jumping out of a plane, Mary Ann wasn't amused!
