On sunday morning, my friends and I drove out to the west coast of the north island to a little beach town called Raglan! These beaches are well know for the surfers that flock there!

Before the beach we made an hour drive out to Bridal Falls (the falls resemble a bridal veil!)

After a 15 minute treck into the woods, we found the falls!

They were so awesome that we decided we had to jump in....even though it was FREEZING outside AND the water was even colder!

We ate at this cute little cafe and then headed out to the black sand Raglan beach, where the surfers were having a pretty good day! The water here was freezing too, but we had try to ride the waves a bit!

After a nice afternoon at the beach, we dropped two of our friend off in Hamilton and headed back up north!
