I had a 79 minute transfer in Kanita, so I walked around for a while and grabbed some dinner.  Now, I will be boarding one of the few non-local trains that I am allowed to ride with the Seishun 18 Kippu.  It is the Limited Express Super Hakucho 19 on the Tsugaru-Kaikyo Line between Kanita and Kikonai stations.  This train travels through the Seikan Tunnel, the world's longest undersea tunnel, which connects the main island of Honshu to the northern island of Hokkaido.
