I am now on my spring vacation which is actually between semesters and is like summer vacation in the US.  I am going on a ski trip for 3 days in Nagano.  Whohoo!  I went skiing once in 6th grade with a friend and her family.  Other than that, the only skiing I have done is in a Kinesiology course at A&M called Snow Skiing.  However, in Texas, we lack mountains and snow, so they have this little hill they call Mt. Aggie which has astro turf that is white on one side.  Then, they spray it down with water, and you ski down it.  But when you get to the bottom, you have to take off your skis and climb the stairs to the top again.  Also, if you go too fast, you run into the fence at the bottom.  Needless to say, I am ready to hit some real slopes!
