Today, after eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch, I got a call from my parents asking the number on my jar of peanut butter...

The cost of living in Japan is very high, so I have been eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches as well as instant ramen multiple times a week.  When my family came to visit me for Christmas, I asked them to bring me a giant jar of peanut butter because only the small ones are sold in Japan.  For the past month and a half, I have consumed about 1/3 of the family size jar of peanut butter.  I have also been feeling kinda sick off and on but could never figure out exactly what was wrong.  Well, sure enough, I had one of the jars of peanut butter from America that was recalled because it contained salmonella.
