I have made so many friends since I have been in Japan. Actually, I thought I would be lonely at some points, but I have been having the opposite problem. I have not had enough alone time which has been wearing on me.

In coming to Japan, I really wanted to have an open mind and love everyone. However, I have been realizing that it is impossible for me to love everyone by giving of my time. I have been praying that God will show me who He wants me to form deeper friendships with and spend more of my time with. I was thinking about how Jesus loved everyone while He was on earth, but He did not spend time with everyone. He spent most of His time with the 12 disciples and was especially close to 3 of them, Peter, James, and John. While in Japan, I hope to have groups sort of like these while still seeking to love everyone. The more I learn about loving others, the more complex loving others seems to be.

Anyway, another cool thing is that my friends are from all over the world. Here are some of the countries that my friends come from: Japan, China, Hong Kong SAR, Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Mongolia, Cambodia, India, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Hungry, Finland, Germany, Russia, Sweden, Poland, Canada, and the U.S.A. Isn't that awesome?
