So this is my first post on non-English computers and it is a bit of a challenge. Why do you need to hit the shift button to insert a period and why is the a where the q should be?
So we left London a couple of days ago and started our travels through the European mainland. We got a good deal on tickets from London to Paris(about 75 bucks) but we had to leave a day early. This made us book an extra night in a different hostel called Hostel De Clichy in the Clichy district in Paris, considered by many as the ghetto of Paris. It was so gross and after being tossed around by management till 2 in the morning, I got to wake up to a cold shower and a stall roll for breakfast. You can just imagine that we got up and out of that place.
The next(and current) hostel was a 180 degree difference. It is in Montmartre which is an artsy district in Paris and about three minutes walk from Sacre Cour. We are blown away by how nice this hostel is. It is only 3 more Euros a night and it is in a gorgeour part of town with great access to the underground and it is CLEAN. What a difference from last night. So far in Paris, we have checked out Sacre Cour(obviously), Notre Dame, the Arc De Triumphe, the Louve, the main avenue(I dont know how to spell it). It is a great town and we are liking it as much as London. It is cheaper but not a toon cheaper. We have been eating sandwiches every day for lunch at 2.70 Euros a pop and they fill you up all day. How can you beat that. Tonight we are heading down to the tower to see it at night and tomorrow we are going to go to the Palace at Versaille.
Overall, the trip and France have been awesome. It is just so nice to walk around towns and see amazing architecture and meet interesting people. I dont have a complaint yet. I gotta go or pay another 3 Euro but Ill update again tomorrow I hope. Eric RG More thumbnails ...
