So my first entry goes something like this. We landed in London 2 days ago and spent the first half of the day wandering around looking for our hostel. We finally found it but had hours to kill before we checked in so we roamed around Notting Hill and Kensington Park just in awe of the architecture and differences between the big cities back home and here in London. Ryan is running around like a little school girl just excited to be here.

That night we met a nice Aussie named Shiloh who invited us down to have a couple of drinks with his mates. We met another Aussie and a North Irishman names James. These were the coolest guys. They bought us drinks(6 bucks a pop) and shared all sorts of cool stories. They live in London and have the difficult job of Beer Quality Control Specialists for Budweiser. So they pretty much drink beer for 3/4 of their job. I thought that was pretty damn cool.

We spent the second day traveling to the National Gallery and walking around Picadilly. Good times. That night we hit up some good Indian food and watched the Super Bowl of soccer at the bar in the hostel. It was crazy how packed it was and everyone was going crazy watching the game. It was eye-opening seeing how people are about soccer over here. You always here about their enthusiam for the sport but until you see it in person, you just can't quite comprehend.

Today we toured the Tower of London and St. Pauls Cathedral. Both were very cool and since we got to St. Pauls after 5 pm, we got to sit in on a little service and tour the cathedral for free. Saved us 20 bucks and lots of the crowds. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

I'm out for now but I'll do some more updating later.
