Lets go back a little ways...
Sept 2
Today was Britts grandpa's birthday so we celebrated that with balloons and such. We walked in Port Stewart for a bit before heading back to our house to hang out with some more of Britt's family for dinner. A little while after dinner, after the company had left, Britt and I walked down to the local pub thinking we would just go for a drink or two. There was only about 4 people there, who all worked there... and we figured we'd only stay for a short time. Eventually a bunch of people kept showing up and we were informed that they held informal poker tournaments there every night. By 5:00 am we had finally had enough laughs and poker to head home... haha, it was pretty funny!!

Sept 3
This morning it was a little hard to get up!! But we got up and made our way down to Dunluce Castle...I cant really explain what it is... google it. Then we went for fish and chips in Bushmills, which was awesome!! After that we went back to the house and fell asleep for a good long nap. After getting up we drove down to Ballymena because we were staying at Britt's aunt and uncle's (or something) so that we didnt have to get up as early for the next mornings drive to Dublin for our flight.

Sept 4
It was an early morning today to drive down to Dublin. Once in Dublin we went to the Guinness factory for a tour, which was cool... but I dont like Guinness! Oh well... after that we drove around a bit and then stopped for a lovely lunch. We then were dropped off at the airport for our flight and made it to Italy without problem. Once in Bergamo, we were picked up by the owner of the B&B which we had booked and taken to our home for the night. We enjoyed some local pizza before going to bed fairly early!!

Sept 5 & 6
So we are in Milan now... and its kinda boring... there's really only one thing to see here, thats the Duomo, an old gothic church, and we went to see that today. Otherwise, we have just kind of been wandering around and hanging out in the parks. Yesterday was probably my least favourite day of the entire tour... we took the train from our bed and breakfast in a little town not far from Bergamo. When we arrived in Milan, we had nowhere to go to and no idea where we should go to find a place to sleep!! It was a little stressful and we did a ton of walking with our huge backpacks, but eventually we found a place after much help from the tourist office. We are staying at a youth hostel here for one more night and then going out to Lake Como tomorrow to stay at another youth hostel there. Apparently there is a couple big conferences here in Milan this weekend and the Indy races here next weekend so it was impossible to find a place to stay over the weekend... but its okay because we were hoping to go to Lake Como anyways... thats about all there is to say... now we're just looking for a place to stay in Athens for the first couple nights!! I am sooooo excited for Greece!!
