This was our first and only LONG ocean paddle.  Eventually we got to the point at the far end of the bay, which was all mud and dead trees.  Around the corner was the campsite, which was outfitted with men's & women's portapotties, a picnic table, and about 40,000 no-see-ums.  We made a fire to keep away the bugs & drank a bottle of wine to celebrate our last night on the beach.
